Overview

Speech Language Pathologist — Per Diem at UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Gainesville, affiliated with Select Medical. Per Diem position with a $50 per hour rate and a $5,000 sign-on bonus (ends November 30).

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Coordinate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
• Coordinate treatment programs in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services and available community resources.

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
