Join HCA Florida North Florida Hospital to work as a Clinical Pharmacist PRN, providing general clinical and pharmacy services and supervising technical staff. This is a part‑time, entry‑level position at a 523‑bed acute care center.

• Interpret, transcribe, or verify orders accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug‑drug, drug‑food interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug and dose.
• Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing non‑formulary procurements, using therapeutic interchanges, and promoting rational drug therapy selection.
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing, and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
• Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
• Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the entire pharmacy team.

• B.S. or Pharm
  
  D from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of one year of hospital experience (preferred).
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
