Guest Services Specialist | Patient Experience | Day/Variable | Full Time

UF Health is seeking a Guest Services Specialist (GSS) to serve as a liaison between patients, families, visitors, and staff, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction through engagement, assistance, proactive rounding, and customer service recovery.

• Facilitate patient and UF Health information, way finding, and transportation assistance.
• Support lost and found processes, provide valet vouchers, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Orient and support patients and families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources.
• Proactively facilitate communication and problem resolution between unit staff, other departments, and patients/families.
• Assist with proactive rounding and customer service recovery initiatives.

• AA degree preferred or at least 3 years of customer service experience in healthcare or related service industry.
• Experience supervising or leading the work of others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to use a computer.
• Results‑oriented with ability to teach and train others and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Must pass an FBI Level 2 screening.
• Must be willing to accept a Motor Vehicle Operator designation (none provided) – no license required.

Reporting to the Patient Experience Department.
