Housekeeper – Wood Spring Suites, Gainesville, FL

Responsible for performing routine guest room preparations and cleanings, maintaining public areas, assisting with laundry duties, communicating maintenance needs, and following property emergency procedures.

• Hourly Rate: $14.00 – $16.00 (dependent on experience)

• Perform routine guest room prep and cleaning, meeting labor standards and maintaining public areas
• Offer hotel amenities, products, and services to accommodate guest needs and increase revenues
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Communicate maintenance work orders to maintenance and/or management
• Follow emergency procedures and ensure security needs of the property and guests
• Other duties as assigned

• Prior housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality
• Effective oral communication skills
• Proactive problem solving

• Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for long periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs
