West Operations is expanding our content engine and event footprint. This role provides hands‑on support across website content updates, You Tube video production, social campaigns, and email marketing, so the Director of Marketing and Event Managers can scale programs and drive pipeline.

What You’ll Do

Website & SEO

• Update and publish web pages, landing pages, and blog posts in Word Press, ensuring on‑brand copy, images, metadata, and accessibility basics.
• Refresh product/event pages and maintain content calendars; QA links, forms, and page speed.

You Tube & Video Support

• Assist with pre‑production (outlines, shot lists), on‑site filming, and capture of B‑roll and stills using Canon cameras.
• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), create thumbnails in Photoshop, and optimize uploads for You Tube.

Social Media Campaigns

• Build and schedule posts for Linked In, X, Facebook, Instagram; draft copy variations and UTM‑tagged links.
• Monitor engagement and report weekly on performance.

Email & Nurtures

• Build emails and simple automated journeys (newsletters, event invites, reminders).
• Manage lists/segments, QA rendering, and track performance.

What success looks like

• Timely, error‑free web updates and campaign launches.
• Consistent video publishing cadence with quality editing.
• Social and email campaigns executed on schedule with measurable engagement growth.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

Required

• 0–2 years in a marketing, content, or communications role (internships welcome).
• Word Press experience and basic HTML for formatting.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with Canon cameras for photo/video capture.
• Social scheduling tools and email marketing platforms.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gainesville, FL every day.

Nice to have

• SEO fundamentals and analytics (GA4).
• Event/tradeshow support experience.
• Photography and color‑grading basics.
