Systems Analyst, Technical Support
Overview
This position requires gathering information from several sources, analyzing and summarizing the information to draw conclusions and make decisions. Policies and knowledge of procedural framework are used with considerable discretion. The employee must assimilate customer requirements, utilize standard IS methodologies, and gather information from various sources when designing solutions for business needs for projects with defined scope. This position is largely self-directed, working within a general framework established by management.
Primary responsibility will be to provide production support for People Soft customers. Support will involve maintenance, troubleshooting and development of application modules and interfaces. The employee will directly work with end users to understand requirements in order to design technical solutions that are in line with business needs while staying consistent with the application architecture.
$100.00/yr - $105.00/yr
ResponsibilitiesProvide production support for People Soft customers, including maintenance, troubleshooting and development of application modules and interfaces. Use People Tools and other People Soft development tools to perform enhancements, fixes, and customizations to the People Soft application. Develop reports for end users and design technical solutions in collaboration with business users, ensuring alignment with business needs and the application architecture. Communicate effectively with end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
QualificationsMinimum
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate's degree and two years of relevant work experience in People Soft HR or Financials and Supply Chain Applications.
- Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Experience in project management, programming/coding, and IT system implementation coordination is a plus.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve objectives. Applicants within six months of meeting the minimum education/experience requirement may be considered for trainee status.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver".
