The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Senior Attorney to represent and advise various programs within the department.
Job Duties:The Senior Attorney will provide legal assistance to the Division of Plant Industry and the Division of Animal Industry.
- Renders requested legal advice and counsel to the Commissioner and department employees.
- Handles complex cases in trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative proceedings.
- Conducts legal research and prepares contracts, leases, and other legal instruments.
Admission to the Florida Bar and two years of professional experience in the practice of law.
