Inside Higher Ed – Primary role to lead and coordinate moderate to complex projects that support the College of Pharmacy strategic plan and operational priorities.
Job SummaryProject Manager II (Level II) and Project Manager III (Level III) oversee project planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and team leadership. The role develops work plans, tracks status, collaborates with internal and external partners, and manages the dean’s office administrative staff.
Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project scopes, goals, timelines, and milestones aligned with the College of Pharmacy strategic plan.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed project plans and manage daily project operations.
- Lead project meetings, coordinate responsibilities, and monitor progress.
- Identify, resolve issues, and adjust plans to maintain alignment with strategic goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as central point of coordination to ensure alignment with College of Pharmacy strategic initiatives.
- Lead development of policies, procedures, and workflows that support operational efficiency.
- Supervise dean’s office administrative staff, assign work, monitor progress, and provide coaching.
- Support accreditation efforts by gathering, organizing, and submitting required documentation.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, coordinate logistics for special projects and events.
Level II:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level III:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in project management within higher education or a complex organizational environment.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, accreditation processes, or organizational initiatives.
- Experience supervising administrative staff or leading project teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience developing or updating policies, procedures, or operational processes.
- Familiarity with project management tools and reporting systems.

CompensationLevel II: $80,000 – $100,000.
Level III: $100,000 – $125,000.
