Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician
Responsibilities
- Proper maintenance and installation of PLC units.
- Interpret and use wiring diagrams and blueprints to complete job assignments.
- Install and repair electric/electronic equipment used in the plant.
- Maintain records pertinent and necessary to work orders, preventative maintenance, tools and parts, and training.
- General maintenance on all plant machinery as assigned and directed.
- Perform Maintenance A as required and directed by the Department Supervisor.
- Adhere to the required Standard Operating Procedures of the position.
- Attend all required training, including operations, safety, completion of Forklift Inspections and all other requirements as assigned and directed.
- Consistently perform work in a safe and efficient manner with relation to machinery and co-workers at all times.
- Adhere to and follow all safety rules and safe work methods.
- Maintain a clean, orderly area and return supplies and equipment to assigned locations.
- Must be available to report as required (On-Call) as necessary to support the business.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned.
- High School and/or GED required.
- Forklift Operator.
- 5+ years Industrial Electrical experience.
- 3+ years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing plant machinery, equipment and processes.
- Provide your own set of tools.
- Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical/Pneumatic Experience.
- Working with Industrial Electrical 480 Volts and Higher.
- Manufacturing Exp (at least 5-6 years).
- Can work Flexible Schedule/Night Shifts.
- Possess Certifications (for the Journeyman level).
- Interpret and use wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Calibrate electric test equipment.
