Principal Responsibilities- Read blueprints and other written material, then responsible for layout and building of development components or assemblies along with first articles with or without the aid of tooling.
- Prepare and paint various materials to match customer trim and finish definition if required.
- Maintain a high quality of workmanship and assume responsibility for work performed in assigned duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent required. - Work Experience: Two years of experience working in manufacturing or related environment required. Preference for experience working in an experimental / prototype environment or manufacturing setting dealing with modifications to designs, components, or assemblies.
- Professional
Skills:
Must be able to learn to read and interpret blueprints. Prefer experience with measuring tools, micrometers and calipers. Must have experience with hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. Computer knowledge:
Microsoft Excel is preferred. Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment. - Behavioral
Skills:
Must have the ability to self-motivate, perform at a high level of intensity under close supervision, be dependable, attention to detail, work as a productive team member, and solve practical problems with limited standardization. - Language: Speech and hearing abilities that allow clear and distinct communication in English.
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Must wear safety shoes and eye protection. Required manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to differentiate between components. Work environment includes manufacturing shop setting with equipment and noise.
