Description:
Spherion Gainesville FL has clients looking for Production Assemblers in Newberry! You will be responsible for assisting the team in operating machinery and creating products. Let's get to work! Temporary with the possibility of permanent Newberry, FL.
Schedule: FT, M-F, 3:30PM - 12AM, SECOND SHIFT
Pay rate: $14/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Operate light industrial tools, machinery, and measuring devices
  • Read and comprehend instructions
  • Collect material and equipment needed to process
  • Take precision measurements
  • Have a general understanding of welding, glue dispensing, and soldering equipment
  • Conduct basic electrical testing
  • Cut, drill, sand, file, and deburr wood and fiberglass
  • Process components, handles, and tips
  • Laminate components
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications:
    Skills:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Great hand and eye coordination is key
    • Education:
    High School
    Experience:
    0-1 years
    Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years' experience with woodwork preferred
  • Equivalent education and work experience may be considered
  • Soldering experience is highly preferred
  • Manufacturing experience, assembly experience highly preferred
