Neurology Registered Nurse

Job Description

A fast-growing Neurology unit in Gainesville is hiring Registered Nurses to care for neurological and stroke patients. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to build neuro experience in a supportive, team-driven environment.
Acute care experience is not required
—RNs from home health, rehab, LTAC, skilled nursing, corrections, or outpatient settings are encouraged to apply.

• Perform admission assessments and ongoing shift assessments with timely documentation

• Administer medications, evaluate responses, and intervene for adverse reactions

• Deliver patient-centered care with clear communication and prompt support

• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up

• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (all settings accepted)

• ADN or Nursing Diploma

• Active Florida or Compact RN license (must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating)

• BLS (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred:

• BSN
