Job Description About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role focuses on monitoring cardiac telemetry patients, managing complex medical conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Days: Rotating weekends

• Nights: Rotating weekends (night differential applies)

• Candidates must live within a 60-minute commute of the facility

• Patient ratios:
  • Days: 5:1 or 6:1
  • Nights: 6:1

• In-person interview required , including shadowing, facility tour, and administrative interview

• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients for changes in condition

• Provide care for post-surgical and medically complex patients in a Med-Surg setting

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years)

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact eligibility

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire

• Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience and a compact license must obtain a Florida RN license

• Competitive pay up to $43/hour
