Supervisor RN - ACU II | Pediatric Specialties - Medical Plaza | Day| Full Time

Join UF Health as a Supervisor RN in the Pediatric Specialties Clinical Practice. This full‑time day shift role focuses on supervising and evaluating clinical staff, coordinating daily practice activities, and ensuring high quality patient care within a physician office setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and evaluation of clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, tech, CCA) and collaborate on clerical staff assessment.
- Coordinate daily practice activities, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing levels.
- Deliver clinical nursing assessment, counseling, and direct patient care.
- Work collaboratively with other health care providers and ancillary services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of practice specific policies, protocols, and critical pathways.
- Assist with budget development and monitor fiscal compliance.
- Supervise clinical staff while maintaining regulatory institutional policies and procedures under the direction of the Practice Manager and Medical Director.
- Float to other UFHP practices as needed for staffing support.

Minimum

Education and Experience:

• Level 1: Accredited RN licensure; 3 years ambulatory or hospital experience; proven supervisory skills; initiative, multitasking, problem‑solving, and teamwork essential; specialty certification preferred.
• Level 2: Accredited RN licensure; 4 years ambulatory or hospital RN experience (may include LPN or MA); proven supervisory skills; initiative, multitasking, problem‑solving, and teamwork essential; specialty certification preferred.

Additional Requirements:
- Florida RN license;
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within first month.
- No vehicle operation required for this position.
