RN Specialist | Medical Specialties | Day Shift | Full-time

UF Health invites applications for the RN Specialist position in Medical Specialties. This full‑time day shift role involves specialized ambulatory patient care.

• Provide clinical nursing assessment, patient care advocacy, support, counseling, and education.
• Manage patient case management and perform specialized procedures as required.
• Collaborate with health care providers and ancillary services.
• Direct clinical staff and maintain mandatory regulatory institutional policies under the direction of Manager/Medical Director.
• Float to other ACU clinic(s) as needed for staffing.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year of specialty experience or 2 years of ambulatory care or hospital‑based experience as an RN.
• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in the area of specialty preferred.
• Demonstrated initiative, multitasking ability, and responsibility.
• Proven ability to problem‑solve and be a team member.

• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification required or obtained at first opportunity with employment.

• Employees in this position will operate vehicles for assigned business purposes as a 'non-frequent' driver.
