Position: RN Inpatient Surgical - 25K Sign ON!!
RN - Inpatient Surgical Unit | Nights (Rotating Weekends) | $25K Sign-On | Gainesville, FL

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit team in Gainesville, FL. This role focuses on providing high-quality care for post-surgical patients, including wound care, abdominal surgery recovery, and overnight monitoring. What You Will Do:

• Provide direct nursing care for post-surgical patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patients who have recovered from PACU, including abdominal surgeries
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide post-surgical care instructions
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 7:1 in a 45-bed unit

Qualifications:

• 1+ year recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years)
• Active Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start (compact license holders considered)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical unit
• Ability to provide patient-centered care, including wound care, post-surgical monitoring, and patient education
• Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Gainesville, FL

Shift & Schedule:

• Nights with rotating weekends
• Opportunity for $25,000 sign-on bonus ($15K for day shifts)
• Shift differentials:
  Night: $4.25/hr, Weekend: $3/hr
