Description:
This position is for a travel RN in the Intensive Care Unit.
The facility is a community-centered organization serving the local area.
It is a full-service medical and surgical acute care center.
The unit has a capacity of 24 beds and over 80 staff members.
Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:3, providing intensive care to critically ill patients.
The night shift consists of 13 nurses, a secretary, and a technician.
Key equipment utilized includes Alaris Pumps, Pyxis, Baxter CRRT, and GE monitors.
Staff engage in numerous bedside procedures, including tracheostomies and central line placement.
An easy-going personality and flexibility with assignments are preferred traits.
The dress code includes royal blue scrubs, and visible tattoos should not be shown.
The unit promotes teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Self-scheduling is utilized to accommodate staff preferences.
Administration is accessible around the clock for support.
A positive attitude and willingness to assist others are valued in the team.
