Job DescriptionThe department manager leads a specific department—Guest Service, Kitchen, or People—ensuring a fast, accurate, friendly experience while meeting sales and profit goals. Responsibilities include managing systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks; and reporting results to managers.
Responsibilities- Lead shifts and oversee service or kitchen operations to maintain quality and speed.
- Ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage promotions and organize front counter, McCafé, and drive-thru areas.
- Maintain food safety, control food cost, and train kitchen staff on new menu items.
- Hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals.
- Recognize and motivate crew throughout their tenure.
- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Flexible schedule, positive team player, and passion for fast-paced work.
- Must be 18 years or older.
