ResponsibilitiesAssists in providing supervision and development opportunities for members of management and hourly associates, monitoring hiring, training, and mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, promoting a belonging mindset, and recruiting qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. Upholds the company open‑door policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies and procedures, and providing resolutions.
Adheres to company and legal policies, procedures, and compliance regulations for a facility by analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring human resource compliance, asset protection, and safety controls. Assists in overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, developing action plans, and providing direction on company programs and strategic initiatives. Participates in community outreach and encourages associates to serve as good community members.
Builds knowledge in operating a facility by delegating duties, reviewing reports, creating budgets, leading tours, and making decisions under the club manager’s guidance. Monitors financial performance, confirms budgeted sales, membership, wages, and other expenses, and leads the management team to control expenses. Supports enforcement of food safety standards, cold‑chain compliance, and merchandise quality. Contributes to membership and sales growth by visiting business members, building relationships, and modeling member service techniques.
- 2 years’ experience in retail management or related field.
- Big‑box retail merchandising experience (supercenter, superstore, megastore).
