Job SummaryComfort Temp Heating and Air is seeking a knowledgeable and relationship‑driven Commercial Comfort Advisor to support growth within our commercial division. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who understands commercial HVAC systems and enjoys working closely with building owners, property managers, and facility teams to deliver long‑term comfort solutions.
As a Commercial Comfort Advisor, you will assess facility needs, recommend system upgrades or replacements, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. This position blends technical understanding with strategic sales and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new commercial business through networking, referrals, company‑provided leads, and relationship management.
- Conduct on‑site evaluations of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical rooms, and building conditions.
- Identify customer goals related to comfort, efficiency, reliability, and long‑term system performance.
- Prepare and present customized HVAC solutions, proposals, and pricing for replacements, upgrades, and service agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and business owners.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure accurate scope and smooth project handoffs.
- Manage a sales pipeline while meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly performance goals.
- Stay informed on commercial HVAC equipment, controls, energy‑efficiency solutions, and industry trends.
- Represent Comfort Temp professionally at job sites, meetings, and industry events as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of proposals, communications, and activities within CRM software.
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years in commercial HVAC sales, mechanical contracting, or technical B2B sales. - Sales Approach:
Strong consultative selling skills with experience navigating longer sales cycles. - Technical Knowledge:
Working understanding of commercial HVAC systems; ability to review plans or mechanical layouts preferred. - Communication:
Clear, professional presentation skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to diverse stakeholders. - Customer Focus:
Proven success building long‑term commercial client relationships. - Organization:
Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with attention to detail. - Technology:
Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and estimating tools preferred. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or trade certification is a plus.
- Ability to conduct on‑site evaluations, including walking commercial facilities and navigating active job sites.
- Occasional lifting of materials or equipment samples up to 25 pounds.
