LOCATION: Gainesville, FL area

Pay rate: $17.25, $19.47 depending on location

Excelsior Defense Inc is looking for an Armed Security Officer on an armed security post. Must be organized, have a keen eye for detail, trustworthy, and able to manage time effectively. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. This is a very interactive position.

• Physical fitness to work outdoors

• Ensuring the safety of visitors
• Enforcing rules and regulations
• Protecting patrons and client property

• Proven work experience as an armed security officer or relevant position
• Valid Class D Security License & Valid Class G Security License active with the State of Florida
• VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• Ability to operate two-way radios and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed Report writing
