Garage Door Installer / Service Technician

Description: We are a small, local company servicing and installing residential garage doors in Gainesville for 55 years. We are seeking to add a valued member to our team. As Garage Door Installer/Service Technician at Lester’s Garage Doors, teammates play a key role in providing excellent customer service. The position includes installing residential garage doors to meet Florida hurricane codes, Genie Professional model garage door openers, and providing service to repair garage doors and openers.

This is a full-time position, with general hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Load/unload material
• Diagnosing door/opener related problems
• Sales of parts for required repairs
• Install and service garage doors and openers

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must be able to safely lift and carry 70 lbs.
• Good communication skills, and basic math skills
• Basic construction skills
• Must be able to read a tape measure, work with hand tools, power tools, climb ladder
• Clear drug test, approved background check, and clean driving history will be required, prior to hiring
