Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic for their Alachua, FL facility. You will oversee and perform the preventative and reactive maintenance for the plant manufacturing operation. Possible temp to hire position Alachua, FL

Schedule:

FT Salary: $21/hr Please email resumes to Rose Crane -

• Install, repair and maintain up to 480v 3‑phase electrical systems
• Direct and perform preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance
• Install conduit and pull wire
• Test equipment and determine if components need to be upgraded or replaced
• Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Provide maintenance for building and grounds
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Knowledge, experience and/or understanding of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, 3‑phase motors and control circuits, water chilling systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting, welding skills and low‑voltage control circuits (highly preferred)
• Electrical certification a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1–4 years of experience with maintenance/electrical in a manufacturing environment
• Industrial, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, plumbing and pneumatic skills
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations
• Ability to interpret and read electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and ladder diagrams
