• Install irrigation systems according to specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Lay and connect water lines.
• Install irrigation fixtures, pumps, timers, and valves.
• Perform preventive maintenance on irrigation systems, including winterizing the system.
• Test installed systems to ensure proper operation.
• Use established methods to develop watering schedules and avoid waste.
• Ensure installed irrigation systems conform to city codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts.
• Renovate or remove old irrigation systems.
• Keep records as required.

• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of experience as an irrigation installer or technician.
• Certification:
  Irrigation installer/auditor certification preferred.
