Eden Park At Ironwood Apartments in Gainesville, FL is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our community operating safely, efficiently, looking great and our residents happy. Responsibilities:- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units and common areas
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct unit inspections and prepare vacant units for move-in readiness
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including on-call duties
- Maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of the property
- Communicate effectively with residents and management regarding maintenance status
- Prior experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- EPA 608 certification or HVAC experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
