Works independently to perform duties required for materials' management and product transport. Responsibilities include maintenance and operation of department vehicle; assembly of requisitioned inventory items and hot/cold food; transport of products to 1329 Deli, Vista/Rehab, or other designated sites; return of equipment, products, and funds to designated department locations; assisting with duties in ingredient control, food stores, and satellite operations as assigned.
Minimum
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Required to read, speak, write, understand and follow written and oral instructions. One year of experience in food service. On-the-job training also is provided under supervision. Familiarity with food service equipment and systems necessary. Ability to drive large truck for short distances. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'frequent driver'—a frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile at least once daily, at least five individual trips per week, or drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance certification required.
