Position: Product Manager - Hybrid Schedule Available

The Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance of the Vendor Portal, the external-facing platform vendors use to onboard, transact, and manage their relationship with the business. Success requires an intuitive, self-service vendor experience that enables external users to successfully complete key activities with minimal training or support, as well as reliable integrations that move vendor-submitted data accurately and efficiently into back-office and ERP systems.

The Product Manager provides product direction to the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and cross-functional delivery team, with guidance from senior product leadership. This role leads through influence, aligning business, technical, and vendor needs to deliver scalable solutions and measurable business value.

Responsibilities Strategy & Prioritization:
  • Own the Vendor Portal strategy, roadmap, and priorities in alignment with business objectives and vendor needs.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities using vendor feedback, portal usage, support and operational data, and internal stakeholder needs.
  • Establish product goals and success measures and make informed trade-offs based on business value, user impact, effort, risk, integration dependencies, and delivery capacity.
  • Maintain a clear product roadmap and communicate priorities, decisions, and changes to stakeholders and delivery teams.
Vendor Experience & Delivery
  • Lead product discovery with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify needs and validate problems and potential solutions before significant investment.
  • Own the end-to-end vendor experience, including self-service capabilities, usability, onboarding, task completion, and error handling, with a focus on enabling vendors to successfully complete key activities with minimal training or support.
  • Provide product direction to the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and delivery team on requirements, backlog priorities, and release readiness while managing scope, risk, and dependencies.
  • Drive successful external releases in partnership with cross-functional teams, including launch planning, vendor communications, adoption, and change management.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet defined business, vendor, and product objectives and incorporate learnings into future priorities.
Integrations & Data
  • Own the product perspective for integrations between the Vendor Portal and back-office, ERP, procurement, accounts payable, and other supporting systems.
  • Define business requirements for data flows, systems of record, validation rules, and reconciliation to ensure vendor-submitted data is accurate and usable downstream.
  • Partner with architecture and technical teams on API design, integration requirements, error handling, reprocessing, and system reliability.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to reduce manual processes, improve data quality, and enhance the vendor and internal user experience.
Stakeholder Management & Product Performance
  • Serve as the primary product point of contact for the Vendor Portal, building alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate product priorities, progress, decisions, dependencies, and risks, escalating significant conflicts or barriers as appropriate.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, including adoption and self-service rates, task completion, integration error rates, support volume, and vendor onboarding time.
  • Use product performance data, operational insights, and vendor feedback to evaluate outcomes and continuously refine priorities after launch.
  • Champion scalable, secure, user-centered solutions that balance vendor experience with business and operational requirements.
