Job Summary

The Senior Value Analysis Service Line Analyst leads the Value Analysis process for designated categories across the healthcare system. The role executes through expert contractual, supply chain knowledge and leadership skills, with goal of aligning and standardizing supply needs for patients, physicians, and clinicians. Responsibilities include annual work planning, stakeholder collaboration, analytics in sourcing/contracting strategies such as benchmarking, spend analysis, contribution margin, cost‑benefit analysis.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Licensure or certifications:
  Certified in one of the following within 12 months of hire:
  Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management Professional (CMRP), Lean Six Sigma, Value Analysis Certification (AHVAP).
• Educational requirements:
  
  Bachelor’s degree or seven (7) years of supply chain/value analysis related experience.
• Minimum experience:
  
  As above plus proven knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the role.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Preferred licensure or certifications (same as above).
• Preferred educational background:
  Master’s or equivalent advanced degree.
• Preferred experience:
  
  Additional years in supply chain, project management, or value analysis.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project/program management tools.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, creative problem‑solving skills and ability to read technical documents.
• Effective presentation skills to senior management and public groups.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Value Analysis Committee meetings, including agenda development and stakeholder coordination.
• Conduct data analytics, benchmarking, and financial analysis for projects.
• Document and track ongoing projects and report committee progress.
• Manage product conversion and implementation activities, partnering with supply chain and clinical teams.
• Oversee service‑line cost‑savings projects and vendor negotiations.
• Educate staff in supply‑chain practices and monitor performance progress.
• Provide post‑implementation support and resolve product‑related issues.
• Introduce new products using Value Analysis best practices and encourage continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical areas to advance strategic initiatives.
• Execute Value Analysis trial contracts and maintain ERP records.
• Handle intake of service‑line New Product Requests and develop accurate requests aligned with stewardship and clinical goals.
