Base pay: $16.00/hr – $27.00/hr actual pay based on skills and experience.

As a Medical Assistant in our dermatology practice, you will play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers throughout the clinical experience. • Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories, medications, and vital signs.
• Act as a medical scribe during patient exams to ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering local anesthetic (numbing).
• Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens.
• Assist providers during both minor and major dermatologic surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well‑prepared clinical environment.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
• Manage prescriptions, prior authorizations, and necessary paperwork.
• Support providers with follow‑ups, biopsy tracking, and pathology coordination.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and efficiency in all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with the care team to uphold clinical workflows and patient satisfaction.

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Dental Technician (CDT), or Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP).
• Prior dermatology or surgical assisting experience is a plus; we will train motivated candidates with a strong clinical background.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high‑volume setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
