* Position Summary:

** Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure the best quality product is produced.  
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*** Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure different products .
* Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection.
* Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts.
* Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results.
* Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required.
* Establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.
* Creates and uses equipment set-ups, such as micrometers, gauges, calipers, indicators, comparator, when CMM isn’t the best solution for the project needs.
* Responsible for calibrating all tools in the location multiple times a year.  
* Establish and maintain vendor relationships for site tool calibrations.  
** Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Required:

*** Experience operating milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, hand tools and precision instruments
* Ability to read and understand blueprints
* Ability to use Microsoft Office  
* Ability to prioritize and multitask  with minimal supervision.

** High school diploma or equivalent Associates or technical degree is a plus

** 4+ years of CMM operating experience required
