, you will play a key role in managing material flow, production planning, and inventory accuracy to support our manufacturing operations and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:- Plan, order, receive, and verify materials to meet production needs while minimizing freight costs.
- Manage purchase requisitions and monitor inventory to ensure availability and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory analysis, and corrections; maintain accurate material master data.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO principles and manage consignment inventory.
- Develop and optimize short-, mid-, and long-term production plans and schedules based on forecasts, capacity, and material constraints.
- Coordinate production changes, SOP/EOL activities, and external processing logistics.
- Balance capacity, labor, machine utilization, and material flow to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Track and report KPIs (inventory turns, schedule adherence, on-time delivery).
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans, drive cost and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shortages and delays.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and IMS Gear procedures.
- Support ERP/MRP accuracy, Lean initiatives, and process documentation.
- Maintain workplace organization per 6
IMS standards; train and assist team members as needed. - Escalate material or planning risks promptly and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or finance-related field.
- 5 years of scheduling/materials management experience in automotive or similar industry.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, SAP knowledge preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Team player with good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to take decisions and set right priorities.
- Ability to thrive in high pressure environment and efficiently manage tasks within tight deadlines.
