Tooling Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, repairing and inspecting plastic injection molds. Documenting of all changes.

Job Type: Full-time 1st shift (8:00 am to 4:30 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Assembling and disassembling of injection mold and stamping dies
• Preventive maintenance and cleaning ofinjectionmolds
• Troubleshooting of Plastic Injection Molds as and when needed
• Performing Basic repairs
• Moldinspection and replacement of standard components
• Operating manual machines is a plus (lathe, grinder, mill etc.)
• Organization of work area
• Reporting all repairs and maintenance tasks in the system
• Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
• Escalation of issues to manager
• Team work –assisting others with daily tasks
• Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
• Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
• Other duties assigned

Education Requirements:

• Vocationalor Certificate Training:desired
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with injection molds in a high volume manufacturing environment is a must

• Good reading comprehension of work instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good abilityto work in a team environment
• Good organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good technical skills
• Basic knowledge of injection molding process - preferred
• Good machining experience (turning, milling, grinding)
• Basic abilityto readblueprints
• Basic understanding ofmetric system
• Good knowledge of measurement devices
• Basiccomputerskills
• Attendance and punctuality
