Description

To perform, maintain and train on analytical techniques and methods for Quality Control testing required for product release. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct product testing according to Standard Operating Procedures; provide accurate and concurrent laboratory results using data capture forms and the laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Prepare reagents, positive controls, and standards.
  • Notify Manager of any problems and participate in troubleshooting and/or test problem resolution.
  • Assist in revision of standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment monitoring.
  • Follow cleaning and disinfection procedures for all work areas.
  • Maintain consumable supplies and accurate inventory logs.
  • Understand and comply with QA and regulatory requirements (9 CFR, Outlines of Production, Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, etc.) and demonstrate a commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and Boehringer Ingelheim values in all work‑related activities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree with 2–3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 1–2 years of related laboratory experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with ability to multi‑task.
  • Detail‑oriented.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Understanding of compliance, QC testing, and QC processes.
