Service Leader – Chipotle Mexican Grill

Join us as a Service Leader at Chipotle Mexican Grill. The role focuses on maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the crew provides excellent service.

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience, ensuring safe and quality food, training crew, and supporting food safety protocols. They will stand actively during shifts, evaluating tasks, and assisting others as needed.

• Ensure high quality, safe food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, temperature monitoring, shelf life monitoring, and compliance with daily food safety checklist.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross‑train front‑of‑house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration: banking, cash handling policies, paperwork.
• Maintain office equipment and order supplies.

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Strong communication in primary language(s). (written, spoken, read, understand)
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
