Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Gainesville/Jefferson, GA and surrounding market. The Outside Sales Representative with QUIKRETE Heavy Construction Materials will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships, developing new business, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.

This position primarily supports residential builders, with some light commercial business. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong sales experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage their territory independently. Construction materials experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Health and Safety: Follow company safety policies and procedures when visiting construction sites and facilities.

Sales Area Focus: Maintain existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities with residential builders throughout the assigned territory.

Sales & Marketing: Identify potential projects, follow up on leads, prepare quotes, and track sales opportunities. Monitor market activity, pricing, and competition.

Strategy: Develop sales plans to grow market share, increase revenue, and strengthen customer relationships.

Value Added Products (VASP): Promote concrete products and services by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.

Customer Orientation: Address customer concerns and coordinate with operations, dispatch, and plant personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.

Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activity, customer accounts, project opportunities, and progress toward sales goals.

Systems & Processes: Utilize Microsoft Office and company systems for quoting, reporting, and customer management. Training will be provided on product knowledge and estimating systems.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Previous sales experience, preferably in outside sales, territory management, or business development.

Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work independently and develop new business while maintaining existing accounts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel throughout the Gainesville, Jefferson, and surrounding market.

Construction materials, ready‑mix concrete, or residential construction sales experience preferred but not required.
