As a Field Service Tech at JBT Marel your most important responsibility is to provide customer support for installed systems and new installations. You will develop the skills to test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro-mechanical equipment and computer systems. This job is an attractive position for candidates who like the challenge of facing technical issues in front of demanding customers in the meat processing/packaging plants across the U.S. This is a full-time, travel position (85%)
What you’ll be doing :
You will be ensuring that the JBT Marel experience for customers match the JBT Marel promise of superior performance, service, and quality with outstanding communication skills as you work closely with customer management, supervisors, etc.
You will work with electrical/pneumatic/embedded controllers/servo systems (dependent on experience)
You will complete on-site evaluations, install machine enhancements, and appropriately test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications.
You will troubleshoot and perform break fix services to high technology food processing equipment.
What we are looking for:
Two-years of technical trade or equivalent experience. Course work or prior work experience with troubleshooting, installing, and/or repairing electrical/pneumatic/embedded controllers/industrial locations:
