Construction Crew Driver at The Erosion Company (TEC)

TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site cleanup services throughout the Southeast.

• Drive a company vehicle with a 2‑3 person crew.
• Adhere to company safety standards and promote a safety culture among crew members.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
• Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
• Perform site clean‑up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.

• Valid driver’s license with three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to understand and follow directions in English.
• Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
• Prior work experience as a driver.
• Prior experience operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
• Experience driving ½ or ¾ ton trucks with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
• Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work is available immediately for qualified candidates.

Overtime is available during peak season.
