Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician to join our team. As a leader in our shop, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of efficiency, promoting teamwork, and ensuring the expedient delivery of top‑notch automotive services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Motivation
- Provide of example of leadership to achieve high levels of productivity and quality service.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Shop Organization and Efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop to enhance productivity.
- Implement and enforce shop procedures for optimal performance.
- Focus on Technology
- Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and implement them into repair and diagnostic processes.
- Provide guidance and training to the team on new technologies.
- Advanced Diagnostics
- Demonstrate expertise in advanced diagnostics, ensuring accurate identification of complex vehicle issues.
- Mentor team members in advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Vehicle Inspection
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and assess mechanical issues, safety concerns, and areas requiring maintenance.
- Provide detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommended repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
- Personal Billable Hours
- Consistently produce a minimum of 30 billable hours per week through hands‑on work.
- Lead by example in delivering high‑quality, efficient repairs.
- Vehicle Inspection
- Measure inspection completion and accuracy rate of identified critical issues.
- Diagnostic Accuracy
- Evaluate and enhance the accuracy of diagnostics performed.
- Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality repairs and excellent service.
- Training and Development
- Assess and enhance your skill levels through training and development initiatives.
- Efficiency Metrics
- Monitor and improve technician efficiency metrics, including turnaround times and completion rates.
