• Industrialization Leader
  :
  • Manage the technical development of a product from conception to production
  • Utilize core tools such as PFMEA, DFMA, control plans, etc.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, tooling and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Review and approve or reject engineering drawings in accordance with internal DFM guidelines and requirements
  • Create and maintain detailed work instructions
  • Ensure design and process are sufficient to produce the quality of product required by internal and external standards
  • Support production areas, fabrication and final assembly, when new product is being launched to quickly address and correct any issues that may arise
  • Recommend changes to designs, tolerances, or processing methods to resolve production issues
  • Design and develop the process as necessary to produce the product at the volume and quality required
  • Attend design reviews and provide relevant feedback for manufacturability
  • Support engineering as necessary through development phase (collaboration, drawing review, etc.)
  • For DEV process, responsible for:
    • Contributing to and participating in PBS reviews.
    • Preparing and presenting Industrialization Reviews to Program Industrial Manager.

• Education & Qualification
  :
  • B.S. degree in a related technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Technology, Aeronautics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering) or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job related experience.
• Work Experience – Technical knowledge
  :
  • One to three years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Catia or design modeling a plus.
• Professional Skills
  :
  • Basic knowledge of production methods, process capabilities, tooling processes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to prepare well‑written reports and orderly documents.
  • Detailed knowledge of product design, engineering function, tool design, tool fabrication, ergonomics and EHS, space layout, handling equipment, production machinery and equipment, N/C machinery and equipment, factory methods work, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and operating systems.
  • Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment.
  • Ability to read and review written communication.
  • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

  • CATIA V.5, CAD Modeling experience.
