Job DescriptionAs a member of the Safran Seats business, you play a major role in teamwork that provides over one million seats to major airlines worldwide. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)- Conduct effective analyses to clarify and evaluate business requirements for developments in a manner which supports the strategic goals in the context of PLM projects.
- Document requirements using various methods, such as process mapping, user stories, use cases, impact mapping, and functional/non-functional requirement specifications.
- Perform gap analyses for any new requirements or requests and articulate business impact effectively.
- Engage with stakeholders across local functions and across global business units, challenging when necessary and providing input on best practices.
- Present requirements and analyses, including risk and impact assessments, in a precise manner to management.
- Support project governance and delivery of assigned initiatives.
- Ensure correct support model is deployed during solution development, user acceptance testing, and post Go-Live to maintain excellent customer service and positive project outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive end-to‑end test cases during required phases of PLM development projects.
- Coordinate implementation of approved process improvements through interface with PLM and IT/IS teams.
- Coordinate required trainings with the Seats US Development School.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science or related field or combination of 6 years work experience and education related to the degree field if no bachelor's degree.
- Prefer 1 year of related experience in addition to meeting education requirement.
- Ability to enact cultural change management.
- Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
- Basic knowledge of CAD, PLM, business processes.
- Basic knowledge of requirements management and documentation.
- Ability to work across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical skills.
- Communication skills: ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment; ability to read and review written communication; speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
- Ability to develop strong relationships across functions.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.

- Product Lifecycle Management (with preference to Windchill and Smar Team).

Travel – International and/or domestic travel possible; up to 10%.
