Leasing Consultant

Overview

The Martino Group is seeking to hire a full-time Leasing Consultant in Denton, TX. The typical schedule is 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday and Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm, with one day off during the week. Responsibilities center on supporting the Class-A property appeal, keeping owners satisfied, and retaining tenants. • Act as the front-line ambassador between prospects, residents, and on-site management; provide exceptional focus and detail through all levels of communication and daily tasks.
• Play a vital role in the team’s success by offering a community-wide top-notch customer service experience.
• Work closely with prospects, applicants, residents, and on-site team members; handle prospect and resident-related issues or concerns and forward them as necessary.
• Screen applications properly while respecting the privacy of all resident files with a confidential mindset.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with 40 hours regularly scheduled each week. Hours of Operation are typically Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This position may require some local travel during the business day, but no overnight travel.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Proficient in Yardi with 1-2 years of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs with 1-2 years of experience
• Proficient in social media management

Additional Eligibility

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory results from a drug screen, background, and MVR check.
• Fair Housing certification or be able to obtain the certification within 48 hours of hire.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must maintain the minimum amount of insurance required by Company policy.
• Must have reliable transportation for outreach marketing.
