Job Description

At Peak, we believe people are the foundation of our success. We’re seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive support across all areas of Human Resources. This role is central to ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience, with responsibilities spanning benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
  • Manage leave of absence requests and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition for employees.
  • Process administrative changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and elevate issues as needed.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with leadership on HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment‑related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands and Exposures
  • This position works inside a climate‑controlled environment. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
  • Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
