Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Store associates and Customer Service Specialists are also expected to promptly resolve customer concerns, ensure maximum client satisfaction, stay up-to-date with product features, and maintain high quality and visual standards of the products and store. They are tasked with achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company conducts criminal history reviews to protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
- Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship now or in the future
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
- Capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, and retrieve materials from shelves
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
- Experience selling paint and related products
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting products and services
- Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Process sales transactions accurately following policies and procedures
- Meet sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
- Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix products as needed
- Stock shelves and set up displays
- Clean store equipment
- Load and unload delivery trucks; assist in deliveries as needed
- Maintain in-stock and presentable areas
- Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss options with customers
- Follow inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales
