$15.00/hr - $17.00/hr

The forklift driver will perform the numerous duties to support the plant receiving and warehousing functions in regard to timely delivery of materials and distribution to appropriate departments.

• Verify loads against shipping papers; verify labels and quantity
• Load and unload goods to and from truck
• Assure delivery to appropriate departments and locations
• Prepare receipts for loads picked up
• Help with palletization and shrink-wrap of daily goods.
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations and company policies.
• Use forklift and hand pallet jacks to unload shipments from trucks and move to storage area or deliver to appropriate departments
• Work overtime and weekend hours as needed
• Communicate with all levels of employees and management; works with others in a professional polite manner.
• Any and all other duties assigned by Bindery/Shipping Manager

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Printing industry experience a plus
• Ability to operate electric pallet jack, floor jack, hand trucker, and shrink wrap.

• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and overtime
• Must be at work on time as scheduled
• Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rates, discounts, count inventory, and percentages. Calculate volumes, weights and measures.
• Work planning, organization & execution – ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
