LifeCafe Supervisor

Position Summary

The Life Cafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the Life Cafe. They deliver a high-quality experience to the members, motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service, and monitor food quality and speed of service to maintain a positive member and guest experience.

• Manages Life Cafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow.
• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support.
• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers in a professional manner.
• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manages light food prep responsibilities.
• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
• Serve Safe certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to routinely bend, lift more than 20 lbs., and perform tasks requiring physical labor.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
• Night and weekend availability is required based on business needs.

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high-volume atmosphere.
