Lead Restoration Technician

A growing emergency property damage restoration company specializing in water, fire/smoke and mold remediation has an opening for a Lead Restoration Technician. Lead Restoration Technician responsibilities involve responding to emergency and non-emergency restoration calls, customer service, contracts, game planning, estimating, gathering moisture points and recording, demolition tasks (tear out drywall, insulation, carpet, carpet pad), water extraction and setting equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.).

• Be part of a disaster response team for emergency services from water damage, fire damage and mold remediation.
• Take damage assessments, moisture readings and be able to run a crew.
• Perform water extraction, remedial demolition and drying.
• Clean smoke damage from affected structures and contents.
• Must be willing to work outside of "regular" business hours when necessary.
• Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance.

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow International's process
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be always available
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

• Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of word processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
