Salary: Up to £44,000

Location: Gainsborough

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with some flexibility around planned shutdowns

Job Role of the Mechanical Engineer

A leading manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a mechanically biased engineer to join its established engineering team.

The Mechanical Engineer will complete planned maintenance across a range of production equipment, alongside supporting breakdowns when required. The role will involve mechanical fault finding, blade changes, lubrication and continuous improvement activities across a fast-paced manufacturing site.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer

Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Experience completing planned preventative maintenance
Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown experience

Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer

Apprentice-trained or suitably experienced in mechanical maintenance
Experience working on conveyors and production machinery
Ability to install and set up blades to tight tolerances
