As a Roadside Rescue Mechanic you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.

What will you be doing?

• Communicator
  :
  You are our master of diagnostics and fundamental in delighting your customers, sharing knowledge in a way that they understand the situation and feel safe.
• Self‑starter
  :
  You are comfortable working independently as well as collaborating as part of a team and driving to different locations in all weathers.
• Fixer / Problem Solver
  :
  You revel in utilizing your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, whether fixing the vehicle by the roadside or recovering it to a garage, bringing solutions so customers can get on with their day.

What do you need?

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
