Safety Specialist

Job Description

Hill International is seeking a Safety Specialist in Gaithersburg, MD.

• Provides leadership developing safety guidelines.
• Conduct job site inspections to monitor conformance with owner's safety protocols and Construction Safety Standards based on OSHA 30 and USACE Safety Manual em-385.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field or related discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience overseeing general construction projects as a Safety Representative.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with operational knowledge of general industry and construction activities.
• Must be willing to work full time onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
