• Teach engaging curriculum using company‑created materials designed for advanced students in small class settings.

• Manage classrooms of up to 16 students, maintaining an orderly learning environment.
• Grade and provide constructive feedback on tests and assignments.
• Build relationships with students and families to sustain a lasting impact on their educational journeys.
• Encourage a love for learning and critical thinking in language arts.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing and/or grammar.
• Preferred: classroom teaching experience at the K‑12 level.
• Experience teaching or tutoring students.

• A formal teaching credential is not required for this position.

• After‑school program with classes in the evenings and on weekends; availability required during weekday after‑school hours (as early as 4 pm) and/or on weekends.
• Minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class.
• Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes.

• In‑person position at our Gaithersburg location.
• Candidates must be located in Gaithersburg, Maryland or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.

• Hourly Rate: $34/hour.
